By exploiting these symmetries and extending the PoseNet convolutional deep neural net architecture, we use a single RGB image to predict continuous pose coordinates. Instead of generating these images with a real robot, a simulator is created to more easily be able to change parameters such as the lighting conditions, field colour and even the surroundings of the field.
